My dad, Bob, founded Chimney Techniques the year before I was born, so it has always felt like a part of our family. Growing up, the business wasn’t just a workplace—it was woven into the fabric of our lives, and many of the people who have worked there have become like family.
He ran a close-knit team who shared more than just work. They’d come together for barbecues, celebrate holidays, and stick around after hours to shoot a game of pool in the warehouse. It wasn’t uncommon for someone to pick up the phone on a weekend, ready to help out whenever needed. It was the kind of supportive, welcoming environment I grew up loving—a fantastic example of how a business should operate.
After 32 years of dedication, my dad retired, passing the torch to me. I’m proud to continue our legacy, keeping the same passion, reputation, and most importantly, the family-like atmosphere that has always been at the heart of Chimney Techniques.
